Hillingdon School

by Robert West | 11 Nov 2011

Robert West are currently supporting Mace Group on a programme of primary school expansions for the London Borough of Hillingdon. Feasibility stage transport and environmental surveys were prepared for 19 existing primary schools, which reviewed the existing conditions at the sites and identified potential issues associated with flood risk, ground conditions, contamination, utilities, air quality, noise, traffic, parking and trees. Planning applications will shortly be submitted for temporary classrooms to accommodate bulge year classes at six primary schools and it is anticipated that this will be followed by planning applications for the redevelopment of those schools that London Borough of Hillingdon deem most appropriate for permanent expansion.
