Robert West competes Beckton Control Centre

Robert West is coming to the end of its work on the DLR’s Control Centre at Beckton. Robert West have been engaged for the last year, leading a full multi-disciplined design team for the building, external works and incoming services containment; the client having utilised our significant experience in both the rail and building structures sectors. The services Robert West provided ranged from an initial feasibility study through to detailed design, and encompassed successful planning approval along the way. We worked closely with the client, developing a design which adopted sustainable principles and yet produced an extremely cost effective solution.
