Our initial appointment was to Basepoint and included support during planning, outline design and preparation of detailed Employers Requirements. Following the tender period we were novated to A&H Construction to undertake detailed design of the building and external works.

Added value
We reviewed works adjacent to the site that were affecting levels of an embankment and haul road, and dealt with outstanding Environmental Agency queries regarding remediation strategy without delaying the works. Our review of site surveys optimised the volume of ground works required, and we ensured 'very good' BREEAM rating whilst also reviewing with the client the implications of elevating to 'excellent'.
