CBS Advertising Modernisation Programme
Client CBS Outdoor
A £90M project to design and upgrade advertising across the London Underground network with modern, energy efficient and stylish signage. In addition to 33,000 new signs across 255 stations, the project involves the design and installation of 2,000 digital advertising LCD screens and projector systems. We have co-located with the client a team of multi-disciplined engineers to roll out the programme over a two and a half year period.
Added value
We prepared a revised London Underground assurance process that streamlined the existing system, but complied with the LU Assurance regime. The new advertising signage uses 30% less power than before, and this saving has justified a further roll-out of digital advertising.
