Rickmansworth and Moor Park Stations

Client: Cleshar Contract Services
In early 2007, Metronet launched an Extended Arm supply chain, for the delivery of £300m of station upgrades. We were appointed as Design Managers co-located with contractor/client team and provided civil/structural design services for two stations valued at £7m. We delivered fully coordinated multi-disciplined station upgrade designs from RIBA stages C to F, working closely with the contractor under an NEC Option C contract.

Added value
We adopted a pre-existing design, and undertook a 'gap' analysis against the PROMS project management requirements. We proactively managed all the design disciplines and stakeholders, and achieved considerable cost reductions.
