Case study
Erith Western Gateway
Client: Crest Nicholson Regeneration
The Erith Western Gateway is a collection of 13 sites adjacent to the River Thames. It includes Erith's central shopping area, and a railway station providing commuter services to London. The London Borough of Bexley and partners are creating a sustainable riverside community delivering homes, employment, retail and leisure and educational facilities. We have played a pivotal role in developing the masterplan, including revised highway access and pedestrian circulation.
Added value
We supported the masterplanner in optimising the development potential of the site, and redefined the site masterplan with a sustainable transportation strategy, including bus and pedestrian friendly routes.
