Keith A Price
FCMA,
Chairman
Joined the Boards of Robert West as Finance Director following a refinancing of the company in 2000, of which he was the main architect. In 2009 he assumed the role of Executive Chairman.
After an early career with Rolls Royce Aero Engine Division in Derby and Bristol, he joined ICI’s Fibre’s Division in Harrogate and was Plant Controller responsible for the accounting of two polymerisation facilities before being transferred to Brussels just prior to the UK’s entry into the EEC. He later worked as the Planning and Financial Analysis Manager at Borg Warner Chemicals, which was then the world’s largest manufacturer of ABS Plastics. In 1983 Keith returned to the UK and worked for British Telecom at the time of Margaret Thatcher’s first privatisation of a public sector utility before leaving to take up a number of Financial Director positions.
Keith has special skills in change management and has managed and advised on a number of Public to Private sector transformations as well as managing a number of businesses covering the printing, publishing, engineering and IT sectors. He continues to pursue his varied interests in support of the UK’s SME business sector through his affiliation to a number of business organisations directed to supporting such organisations. Keith’s other great interest is rugby, which it could hardly fail to be, after an early education at Colston’s School in Bristol.
