Robert West Consulting is a civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering projects across rail, marine, infrastructure and renewable energy. With offices in London and Manchester, and as part of an international group, we combine global expertise with local delivery.

We’re now recruiting graduates to join our team in September 2027. We welcome applications from students graduating in 2027, as well as recent graduates available to start in September 2027.

What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Engineer, you will gain practical experience and take on responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Delivery: Contribute to engineering projects, supporting design work and the preparation of technical information.

Practical Learning: Work alongside experienced engineers and planners to develop your technical knowledge and understanding of project delivery.

Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues across disciplines, sharing ideas and helping to solve engineering challenges.

Sustainable Design: Help develop practical solutions that consider sustainability and the needs of clients and communities.

What You Bring

We are looking for curious, enthusiastic graduates who are ready to learn and contribute to our team.

Qualifications: A degree in Civil, Structural or Transport Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure, or a relevant related discipline, completed before your September 2027 start.

Engineering Interest: An enthusiasm for engineering design and the infrastructure that supports everyday life.

Problem-Solving: An analytical approach and a willingness to explore ideas and ask questions.

Communication & Collaboration: Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
